Alexander Technique teaches us how to recover the natural support system your body had as a child. The body is designed to sit, stand and move around a central axis, which keeps us well balanced and without strain.

This alignment, involving the head, neck and back, is essential to functioning well and feeling at ease.  It is basically our body's natural relationship to the powerful force  gravity.  If we are well aligned gravity acts as a positive force, interacting with our own energy so that we feel buoyant and at ease, even with a larger body weight.  If we are not aligned gravity becomes a negative force having many ill effects.
