Acupuncture is a deep medical system that is at least 2,000 years old, recognised generally as having it's roots in China but with evidence of its use in Europe 5,300 years ago, as well as being indicated in the wall paintings of ancient Egyptian temples of comparable age. The overall aim of acupuncture treatment, is to restore the body's equilibrium.

The British Acupuncture Council can help you find an acupuncturist close to you in the UK.
