Complete protein make-up
Some algae in our formula is known to have the highest usable protein content of any natural food (65%); far more than meat and fish (15-25%), soy beans (35%), dried milk (35%), peanuts (25%), eggs (12%), grains (8-14%) or whole milk (3%).
The algae in our blend has minimal cellulose in its cell walls, being composed of soft mucopolysaccharides. The proteins are 85% to 95% digestible. This high digestibility rate is especially important for people suffering from intestinal malabsorption problems, which are very common nowadays. Older people often have even more difficulty digesting complex proteins leading to restricted diets.
